Background-repeat

How a background image will be repeated.

Syntax
      background-repeat: repeat | repeat-x | repeat-y | no-repeat | space | round | inherit ;

repeat - The background image will be repeated both vertically and horizontally. (default)
repeat-x - The background image will be repeated only horizontally.
repeat-y - The background image will be repeated only vertically.
no-repeat - The background-image will not be repeated.
space - Space the image out evenly across the width and height of the element. (CSS 3 only)

New in CSS3 is the ability to specify multiple background images. You can (optionally) specify the background-repeat for multiple images as a comma-separated list, these will then be applied (in order) to each of the images specified by background-image.

Examples:
H1 { background-repeat: repeat-x; }
#ss64id { background-repeat: no-repeat; }
