RECOVER MANAGED STANDBY Clause

Perform media recovery - this clause must appear as part of an ALTER DATABASE command.

Syntax:

   ALTER DATABASE database_name
      RECOVER MANAGED STANDBY DATABASE options

   ALTER DATABASE database_name
      RECOVER MANAGED STANDBY DATABASE
         CANCEL [IMMEDIATE] [WAIT|NOWAIT]

   ALTER DATABASE database_name
      RECOVER MANAGED STANDBY DATABASE [DISCONNECT [FROM SESSION]]
         [PARALLEL parallel_clause]
             FINISH [SKIP [STANDBY LOGFILE]] [WAIT|NOWAIT]

Options:

   TIMEOUT int | NOTIMEOUT
   DISCONNECT [FROM SESSION] 
   DELAY int | DEFAULT DELAY | NODELAY
   NEXT int
   EXPIRE int | NOEXPIRE
   THROUGH [THREAD int] SEQUENCE int
   THROUGH ALL ARCHIVELOG
   THROUGH {ALL|LAST|NEXT} SWITCHOVER
   PARALLEL parallel_clause

It is possible to include multiple options in a single RECOVER command .
